stacy winters
Founder and Director of Academics
Stacy Winters brings over 28 years of experience in education, from classroom teaching to district leadership. After 17 years as a teacher, she served as both STEM Supervisor and District Math Supervisor, where she redesigned programs, elevated instructional standards, and aligned curriculum with the evolving demands of the modern world.
Her work has always been grounded in one core belief: education should develop thinkers, not just test-takers. While earning her master’s degree, Stacy studied cognitive psychology to better align instruction with how students learn, retain, and apply knowledge.
As the parent of a son passionate about baseball, Stacy saw a gap between traditional schooling and the needs of driven student-athletes. That realization led her to create EDGE, a modern academy designed to develop students academically, athletically, and personally.
Stacy has a BA in Mathematics from Colgate University, an MA in Education from TCNJ, and certifications in teaching mathematics, supervision, and leadership. She has an educational consulting company.

JC Menna
baseball coach: specialist in pitching and infield
Baseball requires a player to master a lot of athletic skill and precision. Most successful players focus on a specific position, either as a hitter or pitcher, so they can consistently improve on the necessary abilities. J.C. Menna was a shortstop growing up. He was drafted in 2007 by Pittsburgh in the lower rounds, but ended up playing college ball at Brookdale Community College. Like many shortstops, Menna possesses a strong arm, so when he was drafted he was asked to convert to a pitcher.
As a pitching coach, J.C. Menna views baseball as a challenging, “grind” of a sport that requires immense mental toughness passion, and a willingness to fight through obstacles to succeed. Menna focuses on refining pitching mechanics, specifically unlocking pitcher explosiveness and attacking inside.
Menna was a 14th-round draft pick by the Oakland A's in 2010 after playing at Brookdale Community College, Seton Hall, and James Madison University.
